Point of Sale (POS) Sizes and Colors
Visual Retail Plus caters to the apparel industry with in-depth
functionality for the management of inventory consisting of sizes
and colors. Items requiring yet more detail can be further
expanded by means of the WIL feature (for Width, Inseam, and
Length) allowing a second sizing parameter for inventory.
Products and Inventory - Within Visual Retail Plus items are
defined in two parts, one by means of a Product identifier and
secondly by a SKU / UPC code. Items that are available in many
sizes and colors have multiple UPC(s) connected back to a single
product ID - this makes managing your items easier as you do not have to
keep track of a completely separate identifier for every single
variation of the same basic item. The Product-ID is attached to a
palette code and a scale code which contains the list of sizes and
colors for that item. When used, the WIL-ID is also
connected to the product allowing for three-dimensional sizing of items.
Create any number of size scales and color scales (Palettes) for
use with your inventory! A given size scale or palette can
be connected to as many or as few products as needed, enabling the
creation of items with many sizes and colors with a few mouse
clicks! For example, by using a scale with 10 sizes and a palette
with 10 colors - 100 UPC(s) can be created instantaneously for a product
by assigning it to the appropriate scale and palette, rather than
having to laboriously enter each and every variation by hand.
Visual Retail Plus contains a full suite of color and size
management utilities to control and organize size scales and color
palettes. VRP allows you to add sizes or colors to existing scales
and palettes, condense redundant scales and palettes together, and
even completely reassign a product's sizes and colors. Product
management has never been easier!
