Point of sale and inventory reports
Inventory Prices & Status
The inventory prices and status report give you a product analysis of the inventory in your system. You can display your entire inventory across all stores, the product from one particular vendor in one particular group in one store – or anything in between. Store, Vendor, Group, and Region are the search fields that you can use to define which items of your inventory are displayed. The checkboxes below further adjust the displayed information.
Negative Inventory
This report displays negative on-hand items. Enter the store number and select RUN to display the list of negative on-hand items. This occurs when you have sold more items than the system has in inventory.
Dead Items
A dead item is one that was not purchased, sold, or transferred since the selected date. This report is useful to get an idea what items in your inventory are not moving.
Inventory Valuation
The inventory valuation report shows your current inventory as well as its cost and retail value. This area allows you to sum by group or vendor, as well as display the cost as an average of past changes – or as the current listed cost.
On Hand Not Sold
The On Hand Not Sold report provides a list of items that have not been sold since being added to inventory. You can define a range of dates during which sales occurred to see what items were not sold since they were received.
Sale Price History
The sale price history report displays a list of price changes that occurred within the date range specified in the search criteria. Any time a price is changed, a log entry is created in the database. This report displays that information including the old price, new price, and the username of the employee who made the change.
